How to take a screen shot with the iPhone or iPod Touch

First select the screen you want to take an image of

Then press and hold down the power button at the top (see image below) and then immediately press the home button (see image below)

The screen will flash white and you will hear a sound like of a camera shutter

The screen shot has now been taken and stored in the photo album on your device. To view the screen shot, open your pictures album and you will find it saved as the last image in the album
